OUR STORY

From a Worcester Workshop to
Schools Nationwide

It started with a muralist and a question. Tacey Martinek painted her first school in 1999, and the question hasn’t changed since: why does a building full of kids have to look so institutional? Beige walls, hard light, nothing on the walls that says whose school it is. Students feel the difference. So does everyone who works there.

The murals turned into a shop called Artworks. Then Tacey put the whole business into one room, the lunchroom, and the company became Love Your Lunchroom. In 2020 the work had grown past the cafeteria into hallways, gyms, entrances, and whole buildings, and we became Imaginate Your Space. Today we design, print, cut, and make everything ourselves in Worcester, Massachusetts, and we’ve done it for more than 1,000 schools in 32 states. The way we start hasn’t changed. We get on a screen with the people who know the building, and we design it together, so your mascot, your colors, and your culture end up on the walls.

Then we make it to last. Some of the graphics we installed more than fifteen years ago are still up today. Districts call us back for the next school because the first one still looks like the day we left.

MISSION & VISION

For more than thirty years, one Worcester workshop has been turning everyday school spaces into places students are proud to call theirs.

  • Mission

To make every school feel safe, calm, and inspiring from the moment a student walks in, so kids show up ready to learn, eat, and belong.

  • Vision

Every kid in every building walks in and knows this place was made for them.

  • Value

A kid can’t learn, eat, or settle in a space that feels like it doesn’t want them there. The right room lowers the noise and raises what they expect of themselves. You see it in the cafeteria line, the hallway between bells, and the way they treat the place. So we design every space with the people who know those students, make it ourselves so it holds up to real life, and stay close long after install.

OUR FACILITIES

One Roof,

Every Step

Design, manufacturing, and install all happen in our 10,000-square-foot shop in Worcester, Massachusetts. No outsourcing, no middlemen, no waiting on someone else’s schedule. It’s how we hit a school-break install window, and it’s why every piece matches.

Design studio

We design on screen with your team watching, against a 3D scan of your real room, so what you approve is what goes up.

Large-format printing

Photo-quality color on rigid panels, with low-odor inks that are safe for a school. Printed under our own roof, so turnaround stays fast.

CNC cutting and vinyl

Dimensional letters, layered shapes, logos, and mascots cut from exact files. A replacement piece years later cuts the same as the original.

Lamination and finishing

This is the durability layer. Every print is sealed under a laminate made for hands, carts, and daily cleaning, then trimmed, mounted, and checked so it sits flat and lines up.

Install crews

Lifts, scaffolding, and crews that work nights, weekends, holidays, and school breaks. Most installs take three to six days, and the building opens on time.

We didn't design a cafeteria.
We designed somewhere they'd actually want to be.
